For the sake of posterity (assuming we keep at this blog for more than a few months) this morning's routine was:
10 Rounds for time of:
-7 C&J (135#
-200m run
I did the full prescribed weight but scaled my running back to 100m. I did all 10 rounds and completed it in about 37 minutes and change. I just have one question . . .
Why is Darlene trying to kill me with all this fucking running? Jeez . . . .

Dinner tonight
was a chopped steak with roasted cauliflower and asparagus. You just don't get more caveman than that, beyotch.
Also, for what it's worth, despite how shitty I felt during this morning's routine, I have no soreness today from it. Maybe it was watching Sarah's ass jiggling in front of me when we were running that had a palliative effect on me.

"What are you looking at, my gut? I'm working on it, but it's not easy when you're Middle Age Man."
Getting back in shape is never fun and it's even less so when you're 45 years-old. This morning's routine was a case in point. I went through 3 rounds of a timed 5 rounder before I put up the white flag. I said that I had to go home and get Courtney up for school but that wasn't the only reason. I was hurting out there this morning, mostly because of the running that was part of the routine. But I'll keep at it and I'll get better. I must say, though, that it was fun sharing a step-up box with Sarah this morning. Watching her legs and thighs work as she jumped up and off that box distracted me a little from how much I was hurting.
This morning's breakfast was one sausage link and 3 eggs followed a few hours later with a bowl of oatmeal.
